Content Creation Mastery: A 3-Step Framework for Rapid and Engaging Writing

We get it. We need content. We need content for a ton of outlets. But what the hell are we supposed to write, so much so fast? Here’s a 3-step framework I totally stole from the great Justin Welsh - and you should too!

Step 1: Write something big. Say, a serious blog post about a recent technological development. Once you have your main content, you can write additional smaller pieces:

Step 2: based on your big piece, write 5 short pieces:

Write a story. People love stories. They're engaging, informative, and memorable. It gets your audience to relate.

Make an observation. Observations can be short and sweet, or they can be more in-depth.

Take a contrarian take. Go against the grain and offer a unique perspective on a topic. That’s memorable. Unpopular Opinions anyone?

Write a simple listicle. Listicles (list articles) are a great way to break down complex information into easy-to-digest chunks. Easy to read - easy to click.

Do an analysis. When it comes to a good professional analysis you’re basing yourself as an authority and helping out your reader at the same time.

Step 3: adapt these 5 content pieces to your favorite social outlets. Once you do this a bunch of times you’ll have a lot to mix and match.

By following these tips, you can write a lot of content, simply and quickly. That’s how you build an empire 💪
